Located in suburban Petersburg, VA off Route 10 East and Route 156/Ruffin Road in Prince George, VA, we offer exciting and enriching youth and young adult activites for Chester, VA, Hopewell, VA, Petersburg VA and Prince George, VA residents. As a family-focused community of faith, we warmly welcome Fort Lee, VA residents who are seeking a place of praise and worship as your church home away from home.
If you are a youth or young adult seeking an exciting Christian ministry open to your interests, Mount Hope Baptist is the place to be. Mount Hope offers hot church happenings including Christian hip hop, sleep-ins, youth forums, Friday night at the movies, gospel music roller skating parties, pizza parties, youth recreation including bowling and basketball, youth field trips and social services projects.
Our pastor exposes us to the very best in culture. Therefore, our youth and teen ministry doesn't sit still collecting dust. We are constantly on the go. As a result, we've taken fun filled trips to Paramount's King's Dominion, exciting cultural excursions to the Nation's Capitol and toured the African Art Museum of the Smithsonian Institute, Washington Zoo and had lunch on the lawn of the Lincoln Memorial.
We have also visited Natural Bridge, Virginia and walked through underground caves.
